Format: 4 ball best ball
Second last outing for the season with a trip down the Peninsula to the splendid Eagle Ridge. 4 ball best ball was the format, meaning the 4 propeller hats were up for grabs and to be paraded around the Divot on the last day. Wearing the hats on this day were, once again, Biggsy and Joe, who had inadvertently forgot it last time.
Also coming up for grabs are the annual ‘player of the year’ and ‘NAGA of the year’ awards to play for.
But on the day it would prove that Christophe’s voluntary 1 shot handicap cut last month would be no obstacle as he skippered his team victory by the narrowest of margins (0.125), to be fitted with the jacket for the first time.

At the loser’s end it was Snappy Tom’s team who would be wearing the hats, regardless of his late drafting of Andy ‘pinseeker’ Allan in a bid to save the day, a fruitless exercise this proved to be, as Andy was mingwa, along with the rest.

Nearest the pins went to Girdy x 2, Andy and Jules. A kind donation from Spoon introduced a prize for longest drive on the 10th hole, which was taken by Kev.

The handicappers were quick to move and duly cut the winning team 1 shot each. With the celebration of Easter the 2 lads were in a benevolent mood and duly handed Biggsy a 2 shot slide.
