Berwick Montuna – format: 3 ball best ball
Barra legs it to the State of Western Australia to look at booking up some new courses for next season and some members pull the pin due to the promise of inclement weather, or is it the threat of the ‘NAGA of the year’. A re-shuffle of the attendees into 5 groups of 3 was the required set-up.
With a bit of a downpour in the first half it would be the team led by Damo along with Andy Mac and Clayton who would reign victorious with a net score of 59.5.
Each were to receive hats for all occasions, stubby holders, tees and balls from the prize bounty.However, for every winner, there has to be a loser, this month it was the unfortunate grouping of Joe, Sammy and Koala who came in almost 7 shots off the pace with a net 66.3.
Nearest the pins went to Barra (4th), Andy Mac (9th) and Ryan (13th).Again, the handicapper made some strange decisions by cutting Damo 2 shots to 16, Andy Mac 2 shots to 25 and Clayton 1 shot to 29, whilst easing Sammy out 2 shots to 22.
