So it was off to Pakenham this month with the format of the day being Matchplay, the pairings were set by the order of handicap in the club with the intention of having each match as evenly paired as possible, with the overall winner/loser of the day determined by the biggest winning margin.
This turned out to be the clubs man in form Big Alex who shot a 76 off the stick and touched up Gav by 6 holes with 5 to play, (this with a couple of barffs thrown in due to a bit of over-indulgence from the big fella), job done.

Gav also failed to make the photo shoot …. again you’ll have to watch this space.
Note, that as previously mentioned Andy Mac was going for the 3 NAGAs in a row but successfully managed to avoid keeping the trophy even though he was 5 down with 5 to play, Damien’s wallet did appear a bit fatter than when he started the day it must be said.
With Gav’s failure to show it was an opportunity for Andy Mac to get acquainted with his long lost buddy
