The ability to put a squad together, for a monthly outing, becomes increasingly more difficult for the organisers. This month proved to be no different. A new face in the shape of Dave Buckley and former MGC member, Les Thompson welcomed back into the fold.

It was a return to Mornington for the lads after an eleven year absence. Weather was spot on and the course, although a little dry, was in decent nick.

The depleted numbers meant that the 4 ball would incorporate a team of 3. The inability of the organisers to properly seed the teams due to call-offs and incoming subs would see some interesting scores, with team handicaps showing a gulf of over 4 shots from bottom to top.

Team Bob mastered the warm weather and the hilly walk better than most and it was he, along with, Ryan, Dave and Gav who would sporting the Tweeds back at headquarters, carding a nett 54.5.Bringing up the rear was Team Deeks, who was ably accompanied by Mitch, Biggsy and Tim with a nett score of 59.5.

Nearest the pins on the day were Bob 5^th, Red 7^th  16^th, Christophe 10^th and Gav 19^th.

Handicap adjustments would see the winning team all cut a shot each; Bob 17 to 16, Ryan 21 to 20, Dave 21 to 20 and Gav 33 to 32.

The bottom side would all ease out one shot each; Deeks 16 to 17, Mitch 22 to 23, Biggsy 25 to 26 and Tim, hot on the tail of Billy Mac, out from 37 to 38.
