Format: 4 ball best ball/ ambrose
Last game for the calendar year before the Christmas break and Bay Views was the venue. Hot weather was forecast as the temperature soared into the 30’s and the course was in magnificent condition.
A couple of late injuries to Snappy Tom and Baby Koala saw the inclusion of Shug and Stevie to the fold. 4 ball ambrose was the format and it was to produce a very close fought match between the teams, emphasised by the loud cheers throughout the course as the birdies sank. Less than 3 shots separated the first 5 teams.
But it would be Joe’s team that would prevail as they shot a nett score of 52.25 to wear the tweed.

Finishing last over 7 shots off the pace was Colin’s team with a nett score of 59.625.

It was also noted the poor form of the captain who never even turned up to presentation and it was left to Koala to take home the dog trophy.
Nearest to the pins went to Deeks (3rd), Shug (6th), Barra (11th), Andy Mac (15th), Ryan (17th).
Recognition was also given to Andy Mac for shot of the day when he lobbed in a 75m shot into the cup on the full, rubbing the paint of the flag stick on the way in, to give his team an eagle.
The necessary handicap adjustments were made to both the winning and losing teams.
