Format: 4 ball, best ball (4 drives each)

The penultimate game of the season would have us congregate on the local track, affectionately known as ‘the divot’ for the earliest tee-off of the season.

A four ball team event with points to accumulate towards the end of season trophies. A late scratching from Tich would see Stevie brought into Christophe’s team to push up their handicap to the highest out of all the teams. This proved to be very beneficial to ‘team Girdy’ as they carded a nett score of 56.875. But leaders in the clubhouse they weren’t for long, as the following group led by Joe would pip them by just over a shot (1.125) with a nett 55.75.IMG_0027

Joe, Taffy, Sammy and Andy Mac

As things get nerve racking with the NAGA of the year looming large, it would be Barra who would comfortably lead his team to a sound thrashing to don the hats on the final day, scoring 64.75 nett, 9 shots off the winners.

The winning team of Joe, Taffy, Sammy and Andy Mac would all be cut one shot each Joe 13 to 12, Sammy 22 to 21, Andy 25 to 24 and Taffy 30 to 29.

The NAGA team would all slide out a shot each with Barra going from 20 to 21, Winker 24 to 25, Sutho 25 to 26, Alan 29 to 30.

It was also voted that the losing team would take charge of event management on the last day.nagaWinker, Barra, Alan and Sutho
